    I have for children, and just got told that I need to go visit my aunt 3 hours away (by plane) because she is getting sick. My kids can't come so we arranged for them to stay with other people. My flight leaves tomorrow morning and I will be there for 3 days. I litteraly just found out I need to leave 10 minutes ago. I need to back my kids bags (right now they are sleeping). What do I need to remember besides the obvious clothes, shoes, etc. I mean as far as paperwork goes. I'm so stressed I forgot to add there ages. 4 girls ages 12, 10, 8, and 6. katie c - Why is it scary to leave a copy of my will? It keeps my kids protected. Anyway I already have that safe with my lawyer. It's a good idea to have it just in case.

    it was verrrrry weird. okay, so i was pregnant. I think i was around 8 to 9 months prego. I was at my locker, when a guy that i think is very attractive (kevin, he goes to my school ) starts talking to me and i was being a little flirty and naughty. Another thing was that all the time when i go to my locker, i always re-arrange it with kevin and my locker is always cramped and full. Then the next day, i gave birth to a baby (of course) but still attended school the same day. what does the whole dream mean?? i got scared i was prego my locker was full the guy that i think is very attractive starts talking to me i dont know... help!!! i dont know whose baby it is

    I do a lot floral arranging, for which I use a lot of green styrofoam from Michael's. After all those lead warnings, I wonder if green styrofoam contains lead, or other hazardous chemicals. The green styrofoam I use tends to powder a lot. My hands always end up coating with those green powder rubbed off from the green styrofoam when I play with it. Do you know where I can get styrofoam of better quality? Many thanks.

    The AP reported in January, Mike Huckabee's presidential campaign was running very, very low on funding. Romney and Edwards both millionares many times over, dropped out of the race. It was reported in January, Huckabee?s campaign had stopped arranging charter flights, hotel reservations, along with other means of helping reporters and journalists keep up with the movements. News organizations would have to pay for their own expenses. Yet, Huckabee manages to get much air space on local radio and TV stations. The GOP has made it more than clear they are not happy with him and want him to let it go. So, who is footing the bills? Could it be Rush, O'Reilly, et al?

    Is anyone else doing this? I get many offers in the mail offering 1.99%,1.9% and most recently 0% introductory interest rates on credit cards with terms ranging from 6 months to 10 months. I have already borrowed and payed back 2 loans for 20000 and 50000 respectively and have profited on the interest difference between the intro rate and the gic rate.I never use the cards, dont even carry them in my wallet and intend to snip them up when the introductory rate expires. I arrange pre-authorized payments so never miss a payment which can incur high interest charges. The latest offer is from MBNA canada for 0% and when they told me about the 1% transfer fee I told them to cancel the card as I was not aware of any tranfer fee. 1% of 25000 was 250 bucks. They waved the transfer fee and I now have 25000 of free money for 9 months.

    Hi, my husband ordered a dozen red roses to be delivered on valentines day. The first one to die or go over was the next day and now 4 days on almost half have gone over. As you can tell, I don't get delivered flowers very often, but is 4 days rather short for professionally arranged roses.

    I finally found confidence to approach a girl on a night out last week and i managed to get her phone number. The first few texts she sent to me were short blunt answers which sort of made me think she wasn't interested, however when i asked if she wanted to go for a drink she said yes.. and she did turn up. After a few more days of texting, her texts begin to be a little blunt again. However, I went out last night and she text (alot of texting) me asking if i was out in town too and where was i. We went to the same club and i spoke to her a bit in which she held my hand and gave me a kiss on the lips when she walked off but neither of us approached each other when dancing and we rarely spoke til outside the club where i arranged a cab for her and her mate. She said bye but that was it so i text her drunkenly asking if she was interested and she said yes but i just dont buy it. I get the feeling she doesnt want to say she's not interested. Help? if you can.

    How would you deal with this... Call me old school, but I feel a father of an only child daughter has two resposniosbilities.I know I certainly will do this. 1.Help Pay for their college education. 2. Pay for their wedding. When my wife and I lived together, I ended up paying for 1/2 of all her college eductaion. My wife and I had been together for 3 years before getting married. When we decided to get married, my Mom flew out from the east coast to discuss wedding plans and paying/helping pay for the wedding. My Father-in_law completely blew off the conversation. My parents helped out with the wedding and after we had things all arranged, suddenly my father-in-law decided he was going to pay for the rehrsal dinner, no asking us, no talking to my parents, just announced it. About 2 weeks before my wifes bridal shower, my father-in-law broke up with his girlfriend who was my wifes matron of honor. I feel bad but I have no respect for this guy at all Another item, when he broke up with his girlfriend, my Mom and sister ended up paying for the shower. Soon2b... The trick is, while he did not want to chip in, his guest list had about 35 people on it... That was just his side at around $60 per plate Ohhh... And he actually criticized the first engagement ring I got her, which I replaced. To Hopefully... The guy is a widower, received a large life insurance policy, Collects motorcycles and takes about 3 trips a year for his own pleasure

    My husband has a 4 year old son. We love in Pa. His son lives with his mother. His mother is 24 with 3 children from different fathers, my step-son being the oldest. She does not work, she loves off of welfare and doesn not go to school. She was kicked off of housing and had to move back in with her mother at her mothers boyfriends house. Two of the kids sleep inthe same bed as their mother ( the other is 1 and has a crib) in the basement of the house, with my step-sons aunt. There are a few ppl that I have seen in and out of the house. My step-sons mother has a new bf and she goes there from time to time bringing the kids back and forth. My husband pays support and has his son every friday-monday on an arranged agreement by his baby's mother. We believe that it is starting to take effect on the child. He is starting to act up more than usual. And my husband wants to take his son so that he can get a better life but we dont know what our chances are or if its possible - ideas?

    My feelings are hurt and I am becoming upset the more it happens. My husband has worked the last thirty three days without a single day off and next week he will have four days off. He has already started to make plans to hang out with his friends. I was upset because any time we tried to make plans he ended up working late. I truly believe a couple needs their alone time and I don't mean just in the bedroom. He said "because we live together we don't need to make plans to got out". I told him we do for two reasons one we need to arrange for a sitter and two I wont get a day in before he makes plans with his friends. We don't even do anything as a family. It always what he wants which are his friends. Once in a while is ok I can understand that, but we are talking every week. So my question to you all is am I over reacting? Should I even care that he doesn't want to spend alone time with me outside of the house? Every couple has something they enjoy doing together right?

    i live in canada so theres no michael's or hobby lobby here. i went to check up on some flower shop, but they don't have it either. vase fillers are used to arrange flowers & stuff. i even went to sephora!!! you know, their brush holders... they said they get it from the manufacturer! omg i even went inside dollarama, dollar stores, super discount & all those places i have never been to! i can't even find them on ebay! i really prefer to go to the place where they purchase it than buy it online. PLS HELP!!!

    I just finished having a conversation with someone who just came from Spain to America (Well 10 yrs now) Him w/ wife and kids.They came from a small little town I can't pronounce.They had an arranged marriage when they were 18. Which was common where their from.They've been married for about 30+ yrs and he can't speak more highly of his wife and marriage.Where he comes from marriage and all that kind of stuff is VERY high prority for them.Sacred!he said that marriages were truly enjoyed. He was deumbfounded by the culture he's now in when it comes to marriage.He was on a site called askmen.com and was horrified by the stuff he was reading.I went on the link he sent me and know what he means.   28. Resolved Question: MS Word Find & Replace -- Weirdly formatted document?

    I have a really long document (200+ pages) that has odd formatting, which includes sentences that are cut off in the middle (with "enter" or "return" so that the second half of the sentence is underneath the first part). All of these sentences are arranged by paragraphs, as they should be. It's pretty much like that throughout the file. I know how to find and replace the "enter" part (Find: ^p Replace: *I type in one space*) but I still want to keep the paragraphs that are formed. If I do the above mentioned find and replace and chose "replace all", the document turns into one long continuous paragraph. My question is pretty much this: Is there any way I can find and replace the "enter" without losing the paragraphs that are already formed in the document? I know that I can find and replace in a specific selection (each paragraph), but I don't want to go through 200 pages of paragraphs and doing a find and replace for each paragraph. Thanks in advance for any replies. I should add that the content of the document was copied and pasted into Word from a website. I didn't do anything to the formatting of the document, it was like that when I pasted it. When I removed all the formatting, it didn't do anything except change the margins.

    Well today I was over by a friend and we went to this youth luncheon and we were just walking around and we happened to pass the room where they played pool and there were two boys Chad and Melchi and I recognized Chad because he had said Hi to me earlier on so they continued with pool and he asked my name and age and then he continued the game, then jokingly Chad said Ginger, just leave but Charisma can stay (I'm Charisma) and after that, my friend asked Chad do you like Charisma and he said maybe....has she ever had a boyfriend and what does she do with the boy and my friend said eew ask her.     Its a longdistance thing. He is in Paris and I am in London. I fell in love with him during a romantic break over New Years...We had amazing fun and we've being trying to arrange another weekend together for over a month. Unfortunately I was unavailable due to work travel. Meanwhile, he texts me very little ( once a week max) and only called me twice since 1st January (but i never initiated contact - left him freedom to do so).Onse I told him I like him a lot, but he didn't respond that he feels the same. He is seems to care but is very distant. On Valentines he didn't contact me at all..He is coming to visit me in London for a weekend. I got strong feelings for this guy and would only like to keep- seing him if we are in a relationship, and "together" regularly.. I don't want to put any pressure on him, but I want to understand his intentions without asking hard questions. Valentines silence really alerted me. What is your opinion on his behaviour and intentions?

    I'm from India and my parents brought in an intersted groom to our house for my sister. He had previously informed my parents he liked my sister. I don't like the arranged marriage custom so I just kep mum while they were all talking. In fact I came down to the hall only upon the insistence of my parents. I didn't talk anything to him and neither did he to me. Few days later he told my parents he was marrying another girl because he didn't like my not talking to him when he came to our house. What do you think of this man? No my sister didn't like him either. My parents were trying to convince her to marry him. Since what was happening was against my conscience I chose to kept mum.

    During the 2nd week of jan (14-18), my fiance was admitted into the hospital and i called in like im supposed to and it was excused. The MNGR in my area told me to take the whole week off (thats how long my fiance was admitted).. The following Tuesday I was written up (by the supervisor) for not having those days (i was in the hospital) PRE-ARRANGED off.. I had to sign a warning paper about my absence..I REFUSED TO! Emergancies can not be PRE-ARRANGED!! They told me, if i didnt sign the paper I would be FIRED. and I still refused. (it was Bullshit to me) THen they told me " if you dont sign it, it would be considered as you quitting." so I told them "I QUIT THEN!" my real question wud be.. Did I do the right thing not signing that paper?

    My fiance and I recently had on offer accepted on a home for $264,000. Combined we make about $105,000 annually, we have about $40,000 in total debt (student loans mostly but some revolving). We have about $13,000 in stock and about $10,000 in cash. As we prepare to close, how should be prepare finacially given this? i.e. sell all stock and use for down payment, try to take out some revolving credit, etc? Given the cost of the home we need more for closing, so we could not completely pay off all revolving credit. We plan to catch up on this after purchase of the home by managing costs. Last question - what types of loan should we consider? Just a typical 30 yr fixed or should we consider a lower term like 15 years? Any other options? We will only have down payment for about 5%, and finance the rest. Thanks! clarify - we have good credit. we need to know how ti allocate our money optimally given the above.

    I am 51, have a great job, and am very obese at 6'3" and 630. I am very happy and have gained over 400 pounds in the last 10 years. I work for a company that is accepting of fat employees as the company has found them to be loyal, productive and successful employees. My director has been very accomodating and even arranged for my work space to be custom built for my size. She is also large at over 350. As I gained my weight during 9 years of extensive travel and eating, I found many that did not mind if I was fat. Many would see me after a year or two and notice my expanding size and weight. Some would comment about my growth - some nicely, others not so. That was expected. I dress well and have always enjoyed showing my size. As I passed 350, it was certainly not a secret that I was fat. I found that the larger I became, the more people would notice me when I walked or ate in restaurants. I accept others as they are.     A JW family member has repeatedly insisted upon having contact with my children without my knowledge. I notified her in writing that she was to contact ME if she wanted to spend time with my teens. She denied having any plans with them, then two days later purposely avoided me and arranged with their father (non-JW) to let them visit her in another state! When I told her that she needs to talk to me and only me when making plans with my teens, she told me that I was jealous of her and just trying to make trouble. I know what state she lives in, but don't know the name of her congregation, or how to contact her elders to ask for their help. My JWs relatives refuse to give me information. They say she 'doesn't mean it' and criticize me for not just 'letting it drop'. She is 49, never married, no kids. No, I'm not DFd. And Sister Bethelite...if you're reading this...yes, I am talking about you. I'm not just going to let it drop and you ought to be ashamed of yourself. Thank you for all of the answers...I realize that I could go the legal route. What I'm trying to find out is how to go the CONGREGATIONAL route. I think having her ELDERS tell her that she should not usurp parental authority or encourage the children to go against their parents' wishes will have more clout than even having her thrown in jail. BTW, since this happened (last Summer), she has refused call, write to or in any other way contact my kids. One of my kids wrote to her begging forgiveness ("I"m sorry I got you into trouble, Auntie"---grrrrr!!!!), and my sister refused to respond, leaving my girl to cry and wonder why Auntie is punishing her. The kids are very hurt and confused by her behavior. I hate to see them suffer so. debbie2243, how dare you accuse me of 'tearing my family apart'. Where does it say that I forbid my JW relatives to talk to my kids? I said that I want adults to call ME to make plans with my kids, not to make plans with the kids directly. I have full custody of the children. Their father has no custody and minimal visitation by his own choice. We are divorced. I allowed the children to go visit their father's parents who live several states away. Their father lives on the same property, and Sister Bethelite lives in the same state, 4 hours away. I asked SB not to make any plans with the kids without speaking to me first because I want to know where my children are and with whom they are spending time. I also don't want to give the kids the message that they have the right to make plans and visit adults without my permission. Sister Bethelite responded IN WRITING that she had no plans with my kids, then arranged with their father to bring them to her house for a week, with neither my consent nor my knowledge. My issue is that she is undermining me as a parent, usurping my authority, and encouraging the kids to ignore my rules. SB insists that my rules are 'too controlling'. This is not her decision to make.

    In rabbits there are four alleles at the c locus. Arranged in dominance sequence they are: C (agouti) Cch (chinchilla) ch (Himalayan) and c (albino) Before I can answer these questions, I don't really even understand what capital C means...does it mean CCHH??? and what does Cch and the rest mean? please help. a. Is it possible to cross two agouti rabbits and produce both chinchilla and Himalayan offspring?

    Is 8y = 3x + 24 a linear equation? I'm not sure, because I seem to remember reading that to be a linear equation, it must have only one type of variable... Also, I know that this could be re-arranged to be one, but, does it qualify as a linear equation as it is? Thanks!

    im a single mom and my mom is moving away!! she used to care for my daughter before and after daycare while i worked. shes going to be leaving this summer, how can i arrange this? i need my lil girlie to be dropped off and picked up??? and shes starting school soon. do you have any advice??? i dont want to make her feel guilty, thanks. i want options... i need to figure out how to manage it but i dont know what is available to me. are you saying the daycare might be able to pick her up?

    I am a British asian male who recently had an arranged marriage to a girl from India but I am now not sure if she is the one. I went to India 3 months ago for the purpose of finding a prospective bride. I met this girl who came across as very charming, talkative and friendly. After meeting her face-to-face we had several long telephone conversations to establish compatibility. Although my family members were not so keen on this girl as her family social and economic status, education level were below our desired expectations, they just wanted me to BE married as we had spent a lot of money on wedding arrangements and getting to India and besides everyone was expecting a wedding to take place. The wedding happened. Soon after, I was finding some difficulty in adjusting with her. I began to see we had lot more in difference than what we had in common. She was too religious for my liking and expected me to be the same. She wasnt as bright as I initially thought. She had peculiar short term memory losses which also caused me some concern. I thought these minor issues and differences would resolve with time but soon I had more surprises in stock for me. She has rheumatic fever and whats more she has never been properly treated for it. Its an arthiritic condition in which upto 80% of cases can cause damaged heart valves.The prognosis is poor if heart is affected. She isnt sure whether her heart valves are damaged. She mislead me about her family relations. She lead me to believe that her step mother was her real mother. There are good reasons for her deception. Her real mother was physically abusive towards her and had eventaully abandoned her at the age of 4 yrs. Although I deeply feel sorry for her but cant help thinking that she may have deep psychological problems due to abandonment and abuse she received as a child. Her mother also has history of mental illness. I just hope it isnt a hereditary condition. When I confronted her as to why she decided not to reveal these information prior to the wedding taking place she replied that it may have jeopardised her chance of getting a good husband. She was sworn to secrecy by her family members never to reveal these facts to her husband or his family! I would have really prefered to know these facts before the wedding then I could have made an informed choice. I told her everything about me but couldnt understand how she could hide such important information so selfishly. I was prepared to share my whole life with her, trusting her with everything. I feel angry at her for the fact that she has duped me. I cant help but feel that my attitude has changed towards her. I cant bear her to touch me. There is no intimacy between us. She has lost my trust and respect. I am now back in the UK and I am going through the motion of applying for her UK visa. Looking with hindsight, this wedding was a big mistake and probably the biggest mistake of my life. It has affected me in such a bad way. I constantly feel depressed now. I have gone all introvert. I hardly go out with my friends, rarely go to the gym or play any sports. I've lost so much weight. I find it hard to concentrate on anything for too long. Divorce is an option. Following a divorce I can see my life going back to how it was but divorce being such a taboo subject back in India that it could affect her adversely. She has suffered a lot in her life and this could be just too much. Divorce could mean that she is never able to find a decent husband if she wished to remarry. But yet I dont just want to be with her for the sake a marriage and feeling charity for her. I am really confused. I would really appreciate your advice.

    ok so the wedding invitations have gone out and almost everything is arranged, but i am having serious doubts. Me and my fella are due to get married in the summer, we have been together for 4 years and have 2 lovely children, so marriage is the next logical step and yes before anyone says anything i know i have done things back to front!, but i can`t shake off these feelings of dread. I don`t think it is wedding jitters, more that i love my partner but i am not in love with him anymore, but how do i tell him this in the best way to keep things amicable, because i have a feeling no matter how gently i do it, he will go crazy and fight me for the kids etc just to spite me. and also i am not very good at confrentation or breaking up with people in fact it has always been me that has been dumped. Please help me, its urgent as time is ticking on! also i think it is partly my fault for letting it get this far! to little ba, no there is nobody else in my life and 3 years ago i was in love with him, but i can`t help how i feel now. to jett, i think it is love just out of habit, as i don`t really have any sexual desire for him at all.
