  3. Voting Question: 4 Day weekend- earn money?
  4. 18 May 2008 at 9:17pm
I have a 4 day weekend upcoming, and I want to earn some money. I'm already planning on doing a lemonade stand if it's hot enough, which it probably will be. Any other ideas for a) things to sell at the stand or b) other things I can do for money? I can't baby sit, and have no way of transport other than bike/bus/walk, though I'm only a few minutes and a big hill away from downtown. I live about 30 seconds away from a semi-busy road.

  9. Resolved Question: How can I save up $2482...??
  10. 2 May 2008 at 11:42pm
I am an 11 yr old girl gymnast from Australia. I am saving up for a balance beam and crash mats to go under it. It costs $2482 dollars altogether (including a leotard). I don't know how I'm gonna save up that much. So far I've got a bracelet making business but I haven't got any customers. And don't say things like "Baby sitting, dog walking, lemonade stand, lawn mowing, paper route or anything like that." I'm not sure about a garage sale but that's most likely out of the picture as well. Please help! Thanks for all your answers!

  14. 29 Apr 2008 at 7:09am
I am an 11 yr old girl gymnast from Australia, I am trying to save up for a new leotard. I was wondering, how can I make money. Odd-jobs, baby sitting, lemonade stand, paper route, dog walking, mowing lawns are out of the question. I'm not sure about a garage sale but that would probably be out of the question as well. I need something creative that my mum would allow. What are some good leotard selling sites that sell cheap high quality leotards? And they have to be Australian cuz if they're American I might not be able to buy them. And should I buy any leotard briefs? Is it best to train in just a leotard or a leotard and shorts over the top? Thanks for your replies!

  15. Resolved Question: How can I make my baby move?
  16. 28 Apr 2008 at 7:25am
I'm 18 weeks gone and haven't felt movement yet. I'm not showing either. Someone suggested on a previous question to drink lemonade - will this work, and why? And is there anything else I can do to spur him/her into action? Am I best laying flat on my back, or knees up, or what? I have a warm bath each night and lie down - no joy there!

  28. 19 Apr 2008 at 9:31pm
I don't really have a question but more of a ton of pint up issues that I can't manage. I am so depressed...I am not looking for sympathy. Well, since In have been pregnant it seems like it has put a strain on things in my relationship. I am not a very vegnful person but I feel I have made the worng choices in my life with the type of men I chose to be in a relationship with. Why is it that I am so prone to men with attitudes and lack of respect for me. I have set goals for myself and with my second child coming I think this is going to break me entirely. I love my baby but I am just not happy about the possible circumstances he might be bought in to. I don't knows what else to do I am paranoid and spread thin with trying to satisfy everyone that I am carrying around a lot of hurt. All I have wanted for the past 5 years is a sucessful relationship, family, and a career I can manage to maintain monies and not be miserable at. I pray and really I feel like I am in a relationship alone!!

  41. Resolved Question: You like jokes?
  42. 28 Mar 2008 at 3:19pm
Yo mama so ugly, she makes onions cry. 25 Fun Pool Activities 1) Stand on top of the high board and say you won't come down until your demands are met. 2) Tell the lifeguards that they aren't doing their jobs because you have seen at least 15 people kind of almost drown today. 3) Ask people if they have seen your pet shark. 4) Sit in the baby pool and play with the toys. 5) Take a flutter board and pretend you can't swim. 6) Hit strangers with your flutter board. 7) Ask an attractive lifeguard to practice CPR on you. 8) Sit in front of a water jet, make moaning sounds and say, "Oh yeah.. oooh that feels soooo good.." 9) Sit on the top of the water slide and don't move. 10) Swim near someone and go "Shoot! I knew I shouldn't have had so much lemonade before I came here." 11) Insist that you saw a monster at the bottom of the pool. 12) Pretend to drown and then when someone tries to help you, say "HA HA, fooled you!" 13) Scream as someone is jumping off of a diving board. 14) Laugh at fat people in swimsuits. 15) Tell people you saw the lifeguard peeing in the pool. 16) Ask a lifeguard if skinny-dipping is allowed. 17) Try to negotiate the price of getting in. 18) Take a really long time when you are on top of the high dive and then act as though you were pushed off. 19) When in line, ask strangers if they think invisible people get a discount. 20) Take your towel, tie it around your shoulders and say "Wheee! I'm Batman!" while running around. 21) Hit strangers with your wet towel. 22) Throw people's things into the pool. 23) Sing and dance on top of the diving board, then do a belly-flop as your grand-finale. 24) Play Marco-Polo by yourself. 25) Ask small children if they have seen any suspicious-looking sea monsters lately. Star if you like.

  48. 22 Mar 2008 at 7:45pm
I'm tired of asking my mom & dad for money. I used to work for a lady on her farm, but she didn't need me anymore after her goats had babies. I got a Xbox 360 this Christmas and haven't got a game or any accessories for it. I hate working for my own mom & dad, because there is really no gain in that. I don't have equipment to lawn, and I don't babysit or make lemonade. I've been praying about it, but I'd like some people's help.

  85. Resolved Question: How do I get a boy who will be 2 years old to eat?
  86. 15 Dec 2007 at 8:21pm
My mom, dad, brother and me are baby-sitting our family friend's grandson. He refuses to eat anything, but will drink anything especially lemonade. Any ideas? He doesn't talk much and won't understand many deals and such. He's just learning a few words and can say "No", "Ball", "Momma", "Don't touch". I think he understands a little Spanish as well because his mother and grandmother are Puerto-Rican and his grandma speaks some Spanish at home. He knows the word kiss in Spanish.

  89. Resolved Question: What is a good sunsitution?
  90. 3 Dec 2007 at 7:01pm
My wife is preganant with a baby girl, there for she can not drink Alchoholic Beverages. But she can not go thsi long without having alchohol. She is not addicted or anything but she gets head ahces if she can't have it at least twice a week. So what would a good subsitution be? Anything that would make her feel relaxed like wine coolers did? Like a really good lemonade, or fizzy peach juice? I don't know i need some ideas? Well she needs some ideas. I meant subsitution. This is not a serious thing, the headaches aren't to bad she might just get a wee cranky and work at her job might be difficult for her.

  91. Resolved Question: First pregnancy freak out?
  92. 3 Dec 2007 at 1:00pm
I am 11 weeks along in my first pregnancy and I have questions about all the food I am supposed to be eating. I have been eating an apple everyday, usually first thing in the morning, maybe some raisin bran or other healthy cereal. I eat a lunch like chicken or salad or a vegetable soup (not much choice when you can't eat fast food and hamburgers make you sick!). I eat a dinner sometimes of pasta or if we go out I will have beef or other meat. Am I eating too little? I have snacks, like canned pineapples, crackers, baby carrots. I have been craving fruit more than anything, so I have been eating a lot of that. Also I have not been drinking 8 glasses of water a day, more like 3, but I drink a lot of lemonade and fruit juice, and decaf tea. Am I just being silly or am I not eating enough of a well-rounded diet?
