I have a copy of Hiren's BootCD and I have copied the deleted file from my other computer onto a usb drive, but I don't know how to acess the folder so that I can put the file in. I have already tried booting the mini windows 98, but that can only access the cd drive and the "RAM drive" it created. I get an "illegal operation" error when I try to access the drive named "D" which I assume is my C drive becuase there are no other drives present in the explorer and the hard drive make a bit of noise before the error. Does anybody know how to get the file into the directory? I can even burn winlogon.exe onto a cd if I have to.
