  22. 11 Feb 2008 at 2:16am
There is a low quality recording of part of the song at this address: http://tinyurl.com/22hwua Possible lyrics are: And I wanna be by your side And I'll take on your word Beyond tomorrow Beyond tomorrow Cause we can be Deeper than the sea Cause we can be Together you and me Why-why-why miss the chance to be in my arms forever You know I'll be there You know I've been there (?) Cause I wanna be in your life I wanna be by your side And I'll take on your world beyond tomorrow Beyond tomorrow Cause we can be Deeper than the sea And we can be Together you and me I-I-I-I don't mind if you leave me behind I will follow (x5) The sample was recorded on a portable MP3 player off the radio, but the station was a new country music station in NZ (106.2FM) without a website, or DJs, or a phone number, and now it has gone off-air! I have asked several radio stations in NZ (no clues) and Nashville (all stations I emailed ignored my email) to help identify the song. Google no use so far! Help! I tried a search through lyrics for both the Dixie Chicks and the Wreckers and nothing came up - doesn't mean you're wrong of course but no luck so far that's for sure! :( Anyone?

  37. Resolved Question: Australian radio competition - Long but hilarious!!?
  38. 7 Feb 2008 at 2:20am
Just imagine sitting in traffic on your way to work and hearing this. Many Sydney folks DID hear this on the FOX FM morning show in Sydney. The DJs play a game where they award winners great prizes. The game is called 'Mate Match'. The DJs call someone at work and ask if they are married or seriously involved with someone. If the contestant answers 'yes', he or she is then asked 3 random yet highly personal questions. The person is also asked to divulge the name of their partner with (phone number) for verification. If their partner answers those same three questions correctly, they both win the prize. The Harbour City dropped to its knees with laughter and is possibly the funniest thing you've heard yet. Anyway, here's how it all went down: DJ: 'Hey! This is Ed on FOX-FM. Have you ever heard of 'Mate Match'?' Contestant: (laughing) 'Yes, I have.' DJ: 'Great! Then you know we're giving away a trip to the Gold Coast if you win. What is your name? First only please.' Contestant: 'Brian.' DJ: 'Brian, are you married or what?' Brian: (laughing nervously) 'Yes, I am married.' DJ: 'Thank you. Now, what is your wife's name? First only please.' Brian: 'Sarah.' DJ: 'Is Sara at work, Brian?' Brian: 'She is gonna kill me.' DJ: 'Stay with me here, Brian! Is she at work?' Brian: (laughing) 'Yes, she's at work.' DJ: 'Okay, first question - when was the last time you had sex?' Brian: 'About 8 o'clock this morning.' DJ: 'Atta boy, Brian.' Brian: (laughing sheepishly) 'Well...' DJ: 'Question #2 - How long did it last?' Brian: 'About 10 minutes.' Brian: 'About 10 minutes.' DJ: 'Wow! You really want that trip, huh? No one would ever have said that if a trip wasn't at stake.' Brian: 'Yeah, that trip sure would be nice.' DJ: 'Okay. Final question. Where did you have sex at 8 o'clock this morning? Brian: (laughing hard) 'I, ummm, I, well...' DJ: 'This sounds good, Brian. Where was it at?' Brian: 'Not that it was all that great, but her mum is staying with us for couple of weeks...' DJ: 'Uh huh...' Brian: '...and the Mother-In-Law was in the shower at the time.' DJ: 'Atta boy, Brian.' Brian: 'On the kitchen table.' DJ: 'Not that great?? That is more adventure than the previous hundred times I've done it. Okay folks, I will put Brian on hold, get his wife's work number and call her up. You listen to this.' [ 3 minutes of commercials follow. ] DJ: 'Okay audience; let's call Sarah, shall we?' (Touch tones.....ringing....) Clerk: 'Kinkos.' DJ: 'Hey, is Sarah around there somewhere?' Clerk: 'This is she.' DJ: 'Sarah, this is Ed with FOX-FM. We are live on the air right now and I've been talking with Brian for a couple of hours now.' Sarah: (laughing) 'A couple of hours?' DJ: 'Well, a while now. He is on the line with us. Brian knows not to give any\answers away or you'll lose. Sooooooo... do you know the rules of 'Mate Match'?' Sarah: 'No.' DJ: 'Good!' Brian: (laughing) Sarah: (laughing) 'Brian, what the hell are you up to?' Brian: (laughing) 'Just answer his questions honestly, okay? Be completely honest.' DJ: 'Yeah yeah yeah. Sure. Now, I will ask y DJ: 'Yeah yeah yeah. Sure. Now, I will ask you 3 questions, Sarah. If your answers match Brian's answers, then the both of you will be off to the Gold Coast for 5 days on us. Sarah: (laughing) 'Yes.' DJ: 'Alright. When did you last have sex, Sarah?' Sarah: 'Oh God, Brian....uh, this morning before Brian went to work.' DJ: 'What time?' Sarah: 'Around 8 this morning.' DJ: 'Very good. Next question. How long did it last?' Sarah: '12, 15 minutes maybe.' DJ: 'Hmmmm. That's close enough. I am sure she is trying to protect his manhood. We've got one last question, Sarah. You are one question away from a trip to the Gold Coast. Are you ready?' Sarah: (laughing) 'Yes.' DJ: 'Where did you have it?' Sarah: 'OH MY GOD, BRIAN!! You didn't tell them that did you?' Brian: 'Just tell him, honey.' DJ: 'What is bothering you so much, Sarah?' Sarah: 'Well...' DJ: Come on Sarah.....where did you have it? Sarah: 'Up the arse.....' up the Ar$e

  41. Resolved Question: Would You Like Another "Local" Radio Station?
  42. 5 Feb 2008 at 1:48pm
Radio is so cold and impersonal anymore. Gone are the days of local DJs, request lines and call-in contests. Can you remember the local DJ? Remember calling him at the station across town to ask him to play your favorite song? If you could have that radio station back, would you listen again? I'm interested! It's time for radio to start listening to the public again! The first answer to my question prompted me to add this: If you do know of a radio station that is still like this, please do let me know. We have NONE in our area anymore! Thanks to the first responder for the info! Enjoy WGCI!

  61. Resolved Question: Why are so many teens into this crap?
  62. 1 Feb 2008 at 4:31am
Sorry for calling it crap, please don't get offended. It's just that, so many teens like my age, I'm 14 . And their all into these stupid teen movies like "American pie" and "Super Bad" with all these stupid sex jokes. What ever happened to good jokes that aren't dirty and still funny? It's like to them nothing is funny if it doesn't have the word "Penis" or "Vagina" or Cursing and other dirty things. To me none of this is funny, what's so funny about it? Ugh, Sometimes I feel lonely as a teen girl who hates all these things made for teens to pollution their minds, I find Shakespeare funny sometimes, but they don't get it! I find radio funny, good ol clean radio and I LOL even, but they don't get it cause DJs aren't allowed to curse or be dirty on the radio. Like, and porno...Come on people, they just say "Not available for minors" so that they won't get sued or something. But they are really intended for minors who don't have debts to worry about and it's all spend spend spend!! Minors, who are curious and they keep pushing it with teen movies with only about 5 seconds of porn and under age sex , and people who makes these know that teens are LOVING IT!! I guess my problem is here, why aren't I more like them or why am I so different? Like, on the outside I try my best to fit in, I mean I talk with my teen friends about puussies on a daily basis, and all my facts are straight cause it's obvious. Like my guy friend watched this porn clip with a chick smoking through her vagina, and I explained how it works and everything is right. But on the inside, I don't like being like them. I mean, why can't I find someone just like me to talk to? I like anchorman, but I love reading about Plato and Hamlet more. And watching films like "Apocalpyto" and other films my friends aren't into What are my chances of finding a religious, mature guy my age? Does anyone know any books on this subject?

I've been studying eastern asian cultures/languages/history you name it, but my problem is I have no idea where in Eastern Asia I should settle down at, I know im young but I like to plan ahead. I am working on becoming a DJ and a Music producer too and would like a country that has a high demand or liking for DJs/Music producers. Im a very casual guy too. What do you suggest I should go to? Thanks alot! Any other suggestions appreciated too!

  89. Resolved Question: Do club promoters need business licenses?
  90. 23 Jan 2008 at 7:58pm
I am curious as to what the laws are on this. There is a local club promoter here in northern california and she is making at least 4 grand a month from throwing parties (she takes in whatever comes through the door and pays a few hundred to DJs) and it seems unfair that she doesn't have a business license nor is she reporting taxes on her annual 48,000 salary. Can you report someone like this? And to whom?

  91. Resolved Question: Is it sad that Heath Ledger will only be remembered as a g...
  92. 23 Jan 2008 at 5:51pm
Looks like making "Brokeback Mountain" may have been a mistake for Heath Ledger. He was a good actor who did a lot of cool movies, yet he will only be remembered as the cowboy who had anal sex with his buddy in a tent in a movie that has been treated as a huge gay joke since it was released. Every report I have heard the past two days about his death only identifies him as the actor who played the gay cowboy in BM (and it included a hell of a lot of gay/anal sex jokes by DJs). No other films were mentioned except Dark Knight and even it was rarely brought up. Being the butt (no pun intended) of gay jokes is a tragic way to be remembered. Do you agree?

  93. Resolved Question: What do you think about....?
  94. 23 Jan 2008 at 3:44pm
I am having a small outdoor wedding in a pavilion with about 50-75 people. I have been looking in to DJs but they are so expensive. The pavilion has a place to have music piped around the building. Should we just create our own playlist or what? I mean, is that tacky? It would save about 500-700 dollars. How would we arrange the father daughter dance, etc?
