WASHINGTON ? The nation's unemployment rate jumped to 5.5 percent in May _ the biggest monthly rise since 1986 _ as nervous employers cut 49,000 jobs. The latest snapshot of business conditions showed a deeply troubled economy, with dwindling job opportunities in a time of continuing hardship in the housing, credit and financial sectors. "It was ugly," said Richard Yamarone, economist at Argus Research. With employers worried about a sharp slowdown and their own prospects, they clamped down on hiring in May, said Friday's report from the Labor Department. The unemployment rate soared from 5 percent in April to 5.5 percent in May. That was the biggest one-month jump in the rate since February 1986. By JEANNINE AVERSA, AP Economics Writer 2 hours, 15 minutes ago WASHINGTON - The nation's unemployment rate jumped to 5.5 percent in May ? the biggest monthly rise since 1986 ? as nervous employers cut 49,000 jobs. The increase left the jobless rate at its highest since October 2004. On Wall Street, stocks slid. The Dow Jones industrials tumbled more than 200 points in morning trading. The big jump in the unemployment rate surprised economists who were forecasting a tick-up to 5.1 percent. Payroll losses, however, weren't as deep as the 60,000 that analysts were bracing for. Still, job losses in both March and April turned out to be larger than the government previously reported. Employers now have cut payrolls for five straight months. The White House expressed disappointment, too. "Certainly this isn't a report that we wanted to see today," White House deputy press secretary Scott Stanzel said. He acknowledged that the increase was higher than experts expected. "It is a number that is too high in our view but it is lower than the average of the last three decades." "The White House expressed disappointment, too." Don't express freakin' disappointment figure out how to fix this mess! That's what you get "paid" for! That's why "we elected you." Do your freakin' job! ( o _ 0 )

Rising in the Senate on May 13, Chuck Schumer, the New York Democrat, explained: "I rise to discuss rising energy prices." The president was heading to Saudi Arabia to seek an increase in its oil production, and Schumer's gorge was rising. Saudi Arabia, he said, "holds the key to reducing gasoline prices at home in the short term." Therefore arms sales to that kingdom should be blocked unless it "increases its oil production by one million barrels per day," which would cause the price of gasoline to fall "50 cents a gallon almost immediately." Can a senator, with so many things on his mind, know so precisely how the price of gasoline would respond to that increase in the oil supply? Schumer does know that if you increase the supply of something, the price of it probably will fall. That is why he and 96 other senators recently voted to increase the supply of oil on the market by stopping the flow of oil into the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, which protects against major physical One million barrels is what might today be flowing from ANWR if in 1995 President Bill Clinton had not vetoed legislation to permit drilling there. One million barrels produce 27 million gallons of gasoline and diesel fuel. Seventy-two of today's senators -- including Schumer, of course, and 38 other Democrats, including Barack Obama, and 33 Republicans, including John McCain -- have voted to keep ANWR's estimated 10.4 billion barrels of oil off the market. So Schumer, according to Schumer, is complicit in taking $10 away from every American who buys 20 gallons of gasoline. "Democracy," said H.L. Mencken, "is the theory that the common people know what they want and deserve to get it good and hard." The common people of New York want Schumer to be their senator, so they should pipe down about gasoline prices, which are a predictable consequence of their political choice. Also disqualified from complaining are all voters who sent to Washington senators and representatives who have voted to keep ANWR's oil in the ground and who voted to put 85 percent of America's offshore territory off-limits to drilling. The U.S. Minerals Management Service says that restricted area contains perhaps 86 billion barrels of oil and 420 trillion cubic feet of natural gas -- 10 times as much oil and 20 times as much natural gas as Americans use in a year. Drilling is underway 60 miles off Florida. The drilling is being done by China, in cooperation with Cuba, which is drilling closer to South Florida than U.S. companies are. ANWR is larger than the combined areas of five states (Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Delaware), and drilling along its coastal plain would be confined to a space one-sixth the size of Washington's Dulles airport. Offshore? Hurricanes Katrina and Rita destroyed or damaged hundreds of drilling rigs without causing a large spill. There has not been a significant spill from an offshore U.S. well since 1969. Of the more than 7 billion barrels of oil pumped offshore in the past 25 years, 0.001 percent -- that is one-thousandth of 1 percent -- has been spilled. Louisiana has more than 3,200 rigs offshore -- and a thriving commercial fishing industry. In his book "Gusher of Lies: The Dangerous Delusions of 'Energy Independence,' " Robert Bryce says Brazil's energy success has little to do with its much-discussed ethanol production and much to do with its increased oil production, the vast majority of which comes from off Brazil's shore. Investor's Business Daily reports that Brazil, "which recently made a major oil discovery almost in sight of Rio's beaches," has leased most of the world's deep-sea drilling rigs. In September 2006, two U.S. companies announced that their Jack No. 2 well, in the Gulf 270 miles southwest of New Orleans, had tapped a field with perhaps 15 billion barrels of oil, which would increase America's proven reserves by 50 percent. Just probing four miles below the Gulf's floor costs $100 million. Congress's response to such expenditures is to propose increasing the oil companies' tax burdens. America says to foreign producers: We prefer not to pump our oil, so please pump more of yours, thereby lowering its value, for our benefit. Let it not be said that America has no energy policy.

  15. Voting Question: Job more important than marriage?
  16. 5 Jun 2008 at 3:58am
Started as a long distance relationship, she cheated on me. We got back together and lived with each other for a year. We then decided to get married. She got a job 2 years ago which enabled her to travel for business to her country 2 times a year. I found it very hard to be without her for so long. Last year she got a promotion which meant she had to travel 1-2 weeks every 4 times per year! This can increase because she is also a rep for that country after they sacked the person that lived there. Last time she left she hardly spoke on the phone and did not tell me she missed me. I felt locked up and neglected, she didn't want me to upset her by showing how much i missed her. When she came back i told her how i felt and she keep telling me that she prefers her job. She then said it was over. We have been talking about it, but she still thinks its perfectly normal for leaving me on my own and hardly talking to me. I don't have a switch to turn my emotions off while she is away!

An Old Newness By Thomas Sowell, Tuesday, April 29, 2 0 0 8 Thomas S o w e l l Rose and Milton Friedman Senior Fellow The Hoover Institution S t a n f o r d University S t anford, California 94305 Many years ago, a great hitter named Paul Waner was nearing the end of his long career. He entered a ballgame with 2,999 hits -- one hit away from the landmark total of 3,000, which so many hitters want to reach, but which relatively few actually do reach. Waner hit a ball that the fielder did not handle cleanly but the official scorer called it a hit, making it Waner's 3,000th. Paul Waner then sent word to the official scorer that he did not want that questionable hit to be the one that put him over the top. The official scorer reversed himself and called it an error. Later Paul Waner got a clean hit for number 3,000. What reminded me of this is the great fervor that many seem to feel over the prospect of the first black President of the United States. No doubt it is only a matter of time before there is a black president, just as it was only a matter of time before Paul Waner got his 3,000th hit. The issue is whether we want to reach that landmark so badly that we are willing to overlook how questionably that landmark is reached. Paul Waner had too much pride to accept a scratch hit. Choosing a President of the United States is a lot more momentous than a baseball record. We the voters need to have far more concern about who we put in that office that holds the destiny of a nation and of generations yet unborn. There is no reason why someone as arrogant, foolishly clever and ultimately dangerous as Barack Obama should become president -- especially not at a time when the threat of international terrorists with nuclear weapons looms over 300 million Americans. Many people seem to regard elections as occasions for venting emotions, like cheering for your favorite team or choosing a Homecoming Queen. The three leading candidates for their party's nomination are being discussed in terms of their demographics -- race, sex and age -- as if that is what the job is about. One of the painful aspects of studying great catastrophes of the past is discovering how many times people were preoccupied with trivialities when they were teetering on the edge of doom. The demographics of the presidency are far less important than the momentous weight of responsibility that office carries. Just the power to nominate federal judges to trial courts and appellate courts across the country, including the Supreme Court, can have an enormous impact for decades to come. There is no point feeling outraged by things done by federal judges, if you vote on t he basis of emotion for those who appoint them. Barack Obama has already indicated that he wants judges who make social policy instead of just applying the law. He has already tried to stop young violent criminals from being tried as adults. Although Senator Obama has presented himself as the candidate of new things -- using the mantra of 'change' endlessly -- the cold fact is that virtually everything he says about domestic policy is straight out of the 1960s and virtually everything he says about foreign policy is straight out of the 1930s. Protecting criminals, attacking business, increasing government spending, promoting a sense of envy and grievance, raising taxes on people who are productive and subsidizing those who are not -- all this is a re-run of the 1960s. We paid a terrible price for such 1960s notions in the years that followed, in the form of soaring crime rates, double-digit inflation and double-digit unemployment. During the 1960s, ghettoes across the countries were ravaged by riots from which many have not fully recovered to this day. The violence and destruction were concentrated not where there was the greatest poverty or injustice but where there were the most liberal politicians, promoting grievances and hamstringing the police. Internationally, the approach that Senator Obama proposes -- including the media magic of meetings between heads of state -- was tried during the 1930s. That approach, in the name of peace, is what led to the most catastrophic war in human history. Everything seems new to those too young to remember the old and too ignorant of history to have heard about it. Thomas Sowell is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institute and author of Basic Economics: A Citizen's Guide to the Economy.

We have been together for 4 years and in a digital media business. She has been going to school and is about to graduate. The business is just beginning to take off. Now after a few counseling session and doing very well, she up and decided she wants to end the relationship yet stay in the business. It's the worst time for this to happen. All we've worked for for the past years is about to payoff but this new arrangement is going to complicate and add costs to an already fragile beginning. My hope is that as we work, she'll see that we can funtion well together and we'll get back together, but I'm also starting to feel angry at her for throwing this monkey wrench in the works with working harder to work it out. The office is in our home and she has left to live elsewhere so there's another increased cost. can even work? BTW 10 days ago we were having fun and making love, 5 days ago she left and today, without talking to our counselor first, told me she was done with our relationship.

You are a loan officer when an owner of a stero components store applies for a business loan from your bank. Your analysis of the store's financial statements reveals a record increase in revenues and profits for the current year. Further analysis shows nearly of this increase is due to a promotional campaign where consumers bought now and pay nothing until January 1 of next year. The store recorded all of these sales as accrued revenue. Do you see any concerns in approving a loan to this store?

    1) Fiscal conservatives favor an annually balanced budget primarily because they: a. believe the private sector is inherently unstable b. believe the public debt will soon cause the Federal government to go bankrupt c. believe deficit financing leads to an undesirable expansion of the public sector of the economy d. fear interest payments on the debt will increase income inequality 2) A major criticism of a cyclically balanced budget is that: a. tax revenues automatically fall in recessions, but do not automatically increase in expansions b. automatic (built-in) stabilizers are so effective that discretionary fiscal policy is unnecessary c. such a policy has an inflationary bias d. upswings and downswings of the business cycle are not always of equal magnitude and duration All help would be greatly appreciated. 46. 3 Jun 2008 at 10:13am
the Senate is considering a ?cap-and-trade? energy policy that will attempt to impose a limit on greenhouse gas emissions, principally carbon dioxide, and establish a trading system for emissions allowances. But in reality, it will place severe regulatory burdens on domestic industry, impede trade, and harm our nation?s economy. Introduced by Sens. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) and John Warner (R-Va.), the Climate Security Act is nothing more than a hidden tax that would raise costs on energy use by $1.13 trillion by 2018! These costs would severely undermine the nation?s ability to attract businesses and capital while at the same time draining household budgets by increasing gas and electric bills for American families. The Climate Security Act will also create an army of new bureaucrats by requiring the Environmental Protection Agency to establish a greenhouse gas (GHG) registry, create a GHG emission allowance transfer system, and set emission allowances for 2012-2050. Is this environmentalism or basically Democratic tax and spend tactics going wild?

  48. 3 Jun 2008 at 9:01am
I have worked at my company on and off for over 10 years. I have left a couple of times, once on my own and once due to a layoff. When I was hired back, on two separate occasions, the management talked about having me do some outside sales calls and customer calls to increase business. Many people don't enjoy this kind of work, but I do. I expressed this during my interviews and was looking forward to the challenge. I feel my talents and experience could be put to good use and that if given the chance, I could increase sales for the company and possibly be eligible for a raise, commissions, etc. I am becoming very bored with the job in its current state. Twice I was told I was being given this project and no one has moved on it. I want to approach my manager about it, but I'm not sure what to say. It's been 9 months and I am wondering if I dropped the ball. Maybe I should have spoken up sooner? Any advice on how to react to this situation?

And Michelle's annual salary was increased from 122,000 to 317,000 in one year? A non profit hospital? And they say republicans are for big business? And I thought Obama was for affordable healthcare? Not overcharging the uninsured. What's the deal? http://blogs.usatoday.com/ondeadline/2006/09/hospital_offici.html http://isteve.blogspot.com/2008/03/why-was-mrs-obama-worth-122k.html My point is this is supposed to be a non profit organization that helps out the uninsured when they are in fact very profitable and overcharge the uninsured. Propaganda? This is facts. Ask Michelle. Call the hospital. THEY HAVE ADMITTED TO GIVING HER THIS RAISE. Look at the tax returns. Again, Obama cult followers refusing to believe blind facts.... I swear, you are like Nazis. Sage- Your point? Kerry was destroying Bush at this time in 2004.

One half of me wants to shake the person and the other half thinks it is none of my business. Given the increase in obesity along with rising health and food costs, should something done?

Benefits to what I do now: Incredible flexibility in schedule, sufficient income for my current situation, great work environment, ability to increase income. Disadvantages: No insurance provided, No retirement, Luxury business in a somwhat economically challenged area. My thought is to return to college (existing credits of about sophmore level initially business major) to acquire nursing degree ( which one? I don't know) Combine with Esthetics license and work for plastic surgeon. Any thoughts, input or suggestions would be appreciated!

  61. Resolved Question: how do I find out who owns a property in Louisiana?
  62. 2 Jun 2008 at 10:52am
The house and 10 acres foreclosed a few months ago and was auctioned at sheriffs sale. I don't know if anyone bought it or not. The grass surrounding the house is at least 3 feet tall. We have been cutting the acre or so by our front yard because it is close to where my children play. We have seen an increase in snakes, mice and mosquitos. I tried calling the real estate company that last had it and the number has been disconnected. I am not sure if they went out of business. If we keep cutting the yard are we entitled to anything? It is ridiculous, our yards are connected and it makes our yard look like we aren't keeping up. any help??

to the number of questions being raised in recent years in churches, and editorial pages, that churches seem more interested in the money than parishioner welfare? Last year, questions were raised about the finances and control by one family of a mega church in Overland Park. In Grandview, a Pastor was killed by his granddaughter and friends to steal a $4 million slush fund he kept in his home vault. Millions on enlarging the church of the former Kansas City Mayor, the Reverend Emanuel Cleaver. This while his parishioners are mostly low income. Even the Salvation Army was questioned over a California Captain getting a $1 million house, than having the house removed, and a $2 million one built. All from organization funding. Check the 2004 LA Times on that one. As a cab driver, I've picked up people from the Theology School. I ask what about the Bible they are learning? I was told they were learning the business of running a church and how to increase donations. Are the Witnesses, as well as other churches that don't spend millions on large chruches, and big salaries, making most of organized religion look bad?

?Processor: The Intel Core 2 Duo T5550 processor has a 1.83 GHz processor speed, fast 667 MHz front-side bus (FSB), and 2 MB L2 cache. (An L2, or secondary, cache temporarily stores data; and a larger L2 cache can help speed up your system's performance. The FSB carries data between the CPU and RAM, and a faster front-side bus will deliver better overall performance.) With two computational execution cores in a single processor, it provides greater system response when running multi-threaded applications simultaneously with no significant increase in power consumption. It's optimized for multitasking and is ready to support the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. It can simultaneously run multiple demanding applications--such as graphics-intensive games or serious number-crunching business productivity applications--while downloading music or running virus-scanning security programs in the background. Some of the advanced Intel innovations of the Core 2 Duo processor include: ?Smart Memory Access: Improves system performance by hiding memory latency, thus optimizing the use of available computer data bandwidth to provide data to the processor when and where it is needed. ?Advanced Digital Media Boost: Effectively doubles the execution speed for instructions used widely in multimedia and graphics applications. ?Dynamic Power Coordination: Coordinates Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology and idle power-management state (C-states) transitions independently per core to help save power. ?Deeper Sleep with Dynamic Cache Sizing: Saves power by flushing cache data to system memory during periods of inactivity to lower CPU voltage. ? ?Hard Drive: The 200 GB Serial ATA hard drive (5400 RPM) provides more than enough capacity for storing a large audio and video library, as well as extra space required for video editing. This SATA hard drive also quickens the pace with a higher speed transfer of data--akin to Firewire and USB 2.0. ?Memory: The 3 GB of installed RAM (PC5300, 1 x 2 GB, 2 x 1 GB) helps boost the amount of available video RAM that's shared with this notebook's video card. It also offers a top-of-class 667 MHz speed. This notebook has a 4 GB maximum RAM capacity (2 x 2 GB). To receive the faster data transfer benefits of the dual-channel DDR2 RAM, any RAM additions require memory modules of same capacity and clockspeed. ?DVD/CD Drive: The dual-layer DVD drive is compatible with a wide range of formats, including both DVD+RW and DVD-RW discs, CD-RW discs, and dual-layer (DL) DVD+/-R discs, which can hold up to 8.5 GB of data--great for backing up your MP3 collection or your most important documents. It features the following speeds: 4x for DVD+R DL, 4x for DVD-R DL, 8x for both single layer DVD±R, 8x for single layer DVD+RW, 6x for single layer DVD-RW, 5x for DVD-RAM, and 24x for CD-R/RW. It reads DVD-ROM discs at 8x and CD-ROMs at 24x. ?Keyboard & Mouse: This notebook has a standard 82-key keyboard and electro-static two-button touchpad. Playback controls include play/pause, stop, forward, rewind, AV mode, mute, volume +/-, capture, and display off. Screen, Video & Audio You'll enjoy razor-sharp graphics and widescreen movies with the 14.1-inch WXGA high-definition screen, with its 1280 x 800-pixel resolution. The XBRITE-ECO technology delivers brilliant colors and stunning clarity with efficient power usage, and it features an anti-reflective coating to minimize reflection and ensure a beautifully clear image from any viewing angle. Video is powered by the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100, which uses shared video memory (up to 358 MB allocated from the system memory) and provides Windows Vista Aero interface support and enhanced 3D graphics performance--delivering over 2x scores on 3DMark 06. Intel Clear Video Technology provides outstanding video playback with sharper image quality, increased clarity, and customizable color controls. It also enables enhanced visual qualit It also enables enhanced visual quality of interlaced content on progressive displays. Networking, Connectivity & Expansion?Be ready for the next platform in wireless connectivity with the integrated quad-mode Intel Wireless 4965AGN Wi-Fi chip. Based on the draft 802.11n Wi-Fi specification, it offers up to five times the performance and twice the wireless range as existing 802.11g wireless. It's also backward compatible with 802.11b/g networks (commonly found in home routers and wi-fi hotspots) as well as 802.11a networks (which has a higher throughput, but more limited range--great for closed office environments). With the Bluetooth connectivity, you can communicate and synchronize with Bluetooth-enabled peripherals such as PDAs and cell phones as well as enjoy wireless stereo music streaming (thanks to its embedded A2DP profile). This notebook also includes a next-generation ExpressCard 34 card slot (though no PCMCIA slot), which lets you take advantage of thinner, faster, and light lighter expansion cards for even more advanced wireless, networking, storage, and security features. 71. Resolved Question: Is living in America really worth it?
  72. 1 Jun 2008 at 3:52am
My parents are both work-a-holics and have work pagers that beep whenever their bosses decide to crack the whip. I don't get to see them as often, and I never was able to get along with them. So much for FAMILY. A family is just two people who produce more cheap labor for big businesses to exploit. I live in the suburbs where I can't go anywhere without driving. I'm in college, but it costs a lot and makes me live like a poor person, while most of my friends decided to forgo college and pick up salary jobs that don't pay that much, but enough. But these are intelligent kids. I think we are deterring education in America, so that big businesses can have a lot of cheap labor, because of course you have to pay the college grad more. Gas prices and food prices are going up. While wages stay the same. Big businesses pass on the increasing costs onto the consumer. I go to college, but I heard this doesn't AT ALL guarantee me a job. I feel so helpless in times like Reading about how life sucks more in another country doesn't make me feel any better about living in a country where we trade in our lives for currency.

  77. Resolved Question: How VCs or investors invest in businesses in terms of shares?
  78. 1 Jun 2008 at 12:51am
Hi, Say I have a business with 4 shareholders with share (ordinary) percentage of 50% : 30% : 10% : 10%, where I own 50% and the only full-time employee. If a VC or investor would like to invest $300,000, and a pre-money valuation of $0.5 mil, what's the most common deal they would take, as in, -what will be the new share percentages? -Would they ended up as majority share holder? What I understand is VCs would not own majority as they want to keep my motivation up to run the business and also they wouldn't know how to run our business -If they decide to take lesser shares, wouldn't that requires them to invest a smaller sum, just to balance the whole percentage thing? The thing is we need a higher sum of investment to grow the company -If we increase the company valuation, wouldn't that seems to far-fetch for them to invest in? My ultimate question is, do I need to buy over my smaller shareholders' share (the 10% and 10%) to maintain majority?

  85. Resolved Question: Natural gas news. Will such "requests" continue throughout...
  86. 31 May 2008 at 3:27pm
(EIGHTEEN PERCENT) 18% increase asked for natural gas BPU's OK sought to pass along higher cost By David P. Willis ? BUSINESS WRITER ? May 31, 2008 People who use natural gas to heat their homes may get a shock to their wallets this coming winter. Customers of Wall-based New Jersey Natural Gas could end up shelling out 18 percent more this winter if the state Board of Public Utilities approves a request to increase rates to pay for wholesale natural gas. Under the proposal filed Friday with the state's utility regulators, an average customer who uses 164 therms of gas during the winter would see his or her heating bill rise from $243.02 a month to $287.47 a month, up $44.45, or 18 percent, if the request is approved. Based on 100 therms a month spread over a year, the proposal would increase bills from $150.76 a month to $177.86 a month, up $27. When will it all end? Or will it ever end?

  89. Resolved Question: should i continue working with Fortune 500 usa?
  90. 31 May 2008 at 12:52am
I've been working with Fortune 500 usa for about 8 months now and for the first six months of my business the Advertising consultant they assigned to help me market my amazon.com associate site helped teach me alot about how to do it right. so i do have confidence in their program. but the first few months were kind of slow averaging less than $200 per month. these past few months though i've been getting around $500 dollars per month. I've been using free forms of marketing they tought me, but now they are suggesting 1 spend $1,000-$2,000 on an ad campaign to try an increase my commissions. I only started this to help augment my retirement. is it worth it to take the chance? what if nothing happens and my commissions remain the same? {it would take 3-5 months to regain that lost money!!!} How efective are these ad campaigns at raising monthly revenue?

  91. Resolved Question: Does this ever happen in a manic episode [bipolar]?
  92. 30 May 2008 at 11:59pm
Like my manic phase is usually just irritable. Then for about an hour a day in a manic phase I'll bounce off the walls. Then back to the irritable. Today, I didn't have my bounce of the walls time. Instead I went normal for an hour [weird] then I just went into a complete extremely irritable crash type thing. I'm not depressed it just seems like the irritability increased significantly. Like if my mom asks "Who was that lady?" I'll come back with a smart alec sounding thing and say "GOD I DON'T FREAKING KNOW! YOU EXPECT ME TO KNOW EVERYTHING?! IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS ANYWAY!! UGHHHH!!!!" Then I'll like punch something. Idk if this is normal but can you tell me if it is. BTW: I'm NOT on meds. Currently seeking help.

  95. Resolved Question: How can one not find the Iraqi death toll as unacceptable?
  96. 30 May 2008 at 5:23pm
That study, published in prestigious medical journal The Lancet, estimated that over 600,000 Iraqis had been killed as a result of the invasion as of July 2006. Iraqis have continued to be killed since then. The graphic above provides a rough daily update of this number based on a rate of increase derived from the Iraq Body Count. (See the complete explanation.) The estimate that over a million Iraqis have died received independent confirmation from a prestigious British polling agency in September 2007. Opinion Research Business estimated that 1.2 million Iraqis have been killed violently since the US invasion. http://www.justforeignpolicy.org/iraq/iraqdeaths.html Old F@rt - I can only assume you're not serving either right now. Let's see 4200 American unnecessary deaths compared to over 1 million Iraqi deaths; a huge number of children, mothers and fathers. To bomb out 70% of Fallujah and then lay siege with Free Fire authority isn't insane and absolutely criminal in your mind you suffer from a grave defficiency. I was intending to send the above to Old F@rt but, unfortunately he's a bit of an egg layer who is afraid to receive email responses. Another uninformed American aligning I raq and 9/11. There is and never has been any connection. Please either get informed or quit lying. Jay C - is another pro-violence egg layer with fear of email. Oh, so many! How juvenile to on one hand condemn Saddam (who is condemnable) and then call all Iraqis bad names and recommend nuclear genocide. Ah, Bliss. Right on Gemini Jen. The reporters we have over there are mostly 'embedded'. They wear American uniforms and do and report as the military tells them to. The conservative media is quietly satisfied with this. Journalists, who are not embedded have been killed by American military. Some killings are being looked into, some are called "justified" if you can believe it, some are called collateral damage, some are called accidental, one they say the camera was mistaken for a rocket launcher. So many killed and all so justly!

  97. Resolved Question: Question About Home Business Taxes?
  98. 30 May 2008 at 4:05pm
I read somewhere that if you run a home business you can adjust your W2 at your regular job to take home more money. My question is I am starting to make some money online. How much do I need to be earning before I can make these adjustments. My regular job salary is between $30,000-$35,000 a year and I make a couple of hundred extra a month online. Should I just keep my current status or increase dependants?
