I owned a Jewelry business on the Internet. I need someone who has design experience to comment of my design. I love web design. I've created my webstore to choosing at freewebs. Freewebs didn't have full complete build tool for the free user. So I try to design by my own idea. She has all the money ever needed to have the best chef to prepare foods that are great tasting, yet fat free, and has her very own personal trainer. So why do you think she continues to go up and down with her weight and do you think she should be advertising weight loss wih her and her trainers picture on the Internet? Just curious how other feel about this? I am not saying there is a problem with her weight. I am just asking why someone who goes up and down all the time for years needs to even talk about weight. She is fine her size, just leave it along. And if she has a health problem, then she is among many others but they don't have the options that she has to medical help, or trainers, or chef's, so I am only asking should this person be advertising for weight loss and personal trainers on the Internet? No matter who they are? I understand she is well known etc, but don't bring up weight and no one else will. She is well liked no matter her size. We are what we are, some by choice and some not. I'm not bashing Oprah. Just a question?

I have recently been contracted to become a marketing arm for an unsecured debt elimination program that is not only legal and ethical but the system has been upheld by the Alabama Supreme Court. It?s very simple to do if you know how and my contractor is not divulging any of his proprietary secrets. My plan is to sell a membership to one person in every city in the US for their use as an exclusive territory. They will advertise locally at their own expense, or advertise on the many free ad sites on the Internet. The leads will call them, they will discuss the program, collect their paperwork and fees and FedEx the package to me. Once everything is in place we pay them a 25% commission ($625-$1250 per sale) until they do $250,000 in Revenue. Then they?ll increase to 30% ($875-$1500 per sale). Basically they do the legwork, we do the grunt work and they make an outstanding commission. So if they made 1 sale per week they would make over $32K per year, but if they make 3 sales a week, they?re now into a 6 figure income. Membership fees are nominal, but they are population based. The cost for the membership will be $500 per 1M people according to the latest census. They can buy more than 1 territory. We will not advertise for customers or compete with them in their territories. Even though we are building a network of direct sales professionals this is NOT Network Marketing. This is NOT MLM in any way, shape or form and our system is only available in the USA. There are basically 300 cities in the US that I want to sell a membership in. My question to the group is this; most of the online sources such as Craigslist, Backpage or Kijiji will only allow you to advertise for free in one city. Without actually taking out an expensive ad in 300 local newspapers around the country, what would be the fastest, easiest and least expensive way to get the word out to as many people as possible who may want to take advantage of this opportunity? I have a website ready to go up, but I?m having a problem figuring out how to set up and acquire the squeeze page information into a database. I?ve talked with InfusionSoft about their CRM software, but it?s over $7k to start up, and $400 a month. That?s expensive for a start-up. Not to mention it kills my entire marketing budget. I've already been doing some "free" surveillance work for friends. This is mostly computer/Internet type stuff. I think I've got a plan to startup my own PI firm. I'm not sure I'll need to do full investigations and I certainly don't want to put money into some PI "schooling". However, I don't want to be caught operating "illegally". So, is there a bare minimum type requirement to advertise and provide PI type services? Again, I'm not asking about being hired by someone else to do this. I'm going to do this myself. Ok, so I downloaded Messenger Plus! Live (a MSN add-on) onto my computer . . . it works fine, but every time I use the Internet, I get all this advertising, call titled "CiD" . Things like free electronics, love calculators, etc etc . . . They come up every couple of minutes or so ... its very annoying and my mum is absolutely shitting herself. Do I have to get rid of Messanger Plus! Live to stop this, or is there another way?? Thank you! x lol so vero how would i do that?

I started selling Avon and Mary Kay about 6 months ago. I would like to know how many people have been duped into using unlimited contracts that claim to be totally free of limitations till you sign on the dotted line. I'm working on a new site that I'd like to have some people review, which might possibly lead to them referring others to the site, but I want to do so in a way that won't blacklist me as some kind of spammer. This is not an e-commerce site; I'm not interested in SEO or the other types of things people asking questions at Yahoo! Answers seem to be interested in, I just want real user feedback and word-of-mouth advertising. I want to know people's thoughts on the concept of the site, what they might like to see on the site, where we've done well or not so well, what's broken, etc. What I'd like to know is if there is some kind of legitimate, popular "check out my new site" announcement board on the Internet somewhere that I can use to put the URL out there and get some traffic to the site. This needs to be a free solution to my problem; I'm not up to spending money on advertising at this point in the site's life. "Real world" solutions appreciated, too. With the recent release of Youtube's API and TiVo quickly jumping on board, it looks as if Youtube/TiVo is positioning to become a Network powerhouse. The API release will aid other websites in advertising small unobtrusive paid clickable banner ads at the bottom of a video - basically mini-commercials. It will also allow other websites which embed Youtube videos on their website to customize the skin of the Youtube player, not sure how much is allowed here but the possibilities are endless.

I'm having multiple annoying gambling, advertising ads on BOTH my desktop and laptop, both from same sites. They appear quite often and I am getting sick of them. They all load in Internet Explorer and I use Firefox. Both my desktop and laptop run on McAfee, but it can't find the virus. Can anyone give me a descriptive instruction on how to get rid of these ads? or recommend a commonly used free adblocker? Hopefully one that doesn't lag the PC much. Thanks :]

I support the Free Tibet campaign and have learned that Yahoo and Google have set up, for the Chinese government, a web service that is heavily censored. Surely it goes against the whole idea of the net's purpose, which (I think) should be about freedom of information? China has a terrible record of human rights abuses so why have these 2 companies (and others) agreed to do this? I now use 'Everyclick' as my web server, as they give 50% of their advertising to charities (of which I obviously chose the Free Tibet campaign) unlike Yahoo and Google who make billions and keep it all, while ACTIVELY helping to repress freedom of information for a sixth of the world! Someone tell me why they chose to do this? I love their services but I can't support this. TO DANS 196... "Who cares" is why I put the question up! I've accumulated 526 points since I joined 2 months ago...solely so that I can now put questions up about Tibet and the Tibetan peoples rights, which the Chinese government has basically removed and is fast destroying utterly. Who cares? I do! So I'm going to use up all my points leaving questions about Tibet on every single category in Answers in the hope that either the Yahoo CEO or somebody out there explains their immoral conduct. They say the card is free but you have to switch to their phone service to get it. I live in North Dadota and am often working in remote places. Is there a card that I can purchase. My Presidential Endorsement: Feb 8th 2008 5:22PM They say that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. So why is it the American people allow our politicians to do the same things over and over and we believe them and expect results different from previous elections ? I've looked at the websites of current and previous candidates to get an understanding of their platforms. They all have positions, some of which I agree with , some of which I don't. But there is one thing that is missing from each and everyone of them, any manner of implementation. Health care, spending cuts, retaining or repealing tax cuts, keeping or removing troops, the soundbites with pretty numbers never end. Not a single candidate provides details on how exactly they are going to accomplish anything. Don't they realize that economists exists to make lottery ticket buyers look smart, not presidential candidates ? It reminds me of business plans I get from kids who tell me about their vision and project all kinds of numbers leading to grand results. They can site historical facts and figures, but when it comes time to get into details of exactly how they are going to execute on their plans, the response is basically that they will figure it out as they go. I wouldn't invest in a business that is winging it any more than I want to vote for a presidential candidate that is winging it. Unfortunately , they are all winging it. i have no question that they have every detail about how to spend their campaign contributions on advertising planned out. I have yet to see details on how they plan to accomplish all their great promises they are making to voters. That scares me. It also scares me that despite claims of not being an "insider" or wanting a different vision for America, every remaining candidate spends more energy campaigning to their party than to the issues. I got sick watching Clinton and Barack argue about who was less of a "Reaganite" during one of their few lively debate exchanges. I actually started to get a little bit excited about McCain. Then he went on the warpath to "mend his riff" with the Republican Party. I can only speak for myself, but the fact that he had a "riff" with the Republicans is exactly why i started to get excited about him. No, he hadn't presented any more details on his plans than any other candidate, but there was a glimmer of hope that he was a candidate that thought for himself. (And before all the comments start, Ron Paul is the worse of all the candidates when it comes to detailing how he would execute on his promises. Just saying you are going to cut and eliminate everything doesn't mean you know how to do it and/or could get it done.) So here we are, our country has the same problem we have every four years, our remaining candidates are politicians. They know how to spend other people's money. They know how to assign responsibility to someone else. They know how to beg for other people's money. They know how to campaign, schmooze and kiss babies. They have no earthly idea how to accomplish any of their promises. So here is my hope. My hope is that the entire primary process is just the preseason. That its nothing more than an expensive introduction to the Republican and Democratic candidates and once they have picked their winner, a wealthy individual will nominate them self to compete with the 2 parties and run for President. Are you listening Mayor Bloomberg ? For less than the cost of opening a tent pole movie, you can change the status quo . I'm not saying that I'm going to vote for you yet. As I said above, the devil is in the details. But, I'm betting that unlike the current choices, you recognize the difference between politics and results. As it is now, our computer is a cesspool of malignant programs. There's this stupid redirect virus that won't let me follow any links I use from Google and instead brings me to a random advertising site. Without warning, I'll get Internet window popups selling me a "free virus scan". And I get little messages at the bottom of the computer saying "FREE SCAN!" I don't think any of those are legitimate. But my dad is so paranoid about the Internet and so trusting in his own anti-virus program that he won't send it in to a technician or anything. I want to download removal programs and get rid of these stupid problems, but of course he won't let me. What should I do? He uses McAfee, and he says that it's doing its job because he's always updating it.
