    My husband and I are currently searching for a new home. I keep hearing that the housing market is now a buyers market and that now is the time to buy. I also see houses come out with one price and continue to lower and lower it, and not get sold. What I am wondering is how much lower is okay to offer and can you expect to pay than the asking price? If it is a buyers market, I imagine you can offer lower and actually believe it may happen. So if the home is listed for $120,000, what would be a fair offer, considering the market? I sure hope I am making sense! I am still so new to this and we would like to be able to get as much as we can out of this! Thanks for all the help!

    I have a website(http://www.onlines2s.com) which I want to sell off, the primary reason being not being able to devote enough time to do marketing for it. I spent around $2500 to build it including Payment Gateway. I would sell it off for $3000, just to make $500 extra for the time and energy I had devoted behind it. The website is not very old and it launched just 1 month back and already has a Google PR 2. Is anyone here willing to buy it or point me to a place where I can get a price for selling it off?

I was talking to my dad earlier today and we discussed putting that money in a money market, mutual fund, stocks etc. I did some research and can't figure out what is the best option for me. Since I am still young, I don't immediately need a return, therefore a long term investment would suit me fine. From my minimal research, it looks as though a mutual fund would be the best option. Do you guys agree? If so, what would be the best one to invest in, or what have you guys used that generated good results. Any other suggestions for me? Anything helps, like I said I'm new so I'm kind of in the dark right now. Thanks!! -Alex

    there are places wher all the fishing ship docks early in mornning and auction takes places at the fish market yard. mny ppl buy and sell fish and is very profitable. Simillarly there are places where all the truck comes with fresh farm produce and need to clear the truck and lots of auction and whole sale selling buying take place quickly in the vegetable market yard, even here many ppl make good profit. are there any simmillar place in your city.

    India, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh should form a confederation. They are so close to each other. North east Indian states can use Chittagong port. Indians can move to north east through Bangladesh. Bangladesh can import electricity. Nepal and Bhutan's democracy will be strengthened by India's association. Nepal and Bangladesh are already two of the largest markets for India. These countries should have visa free travel, one currency, same international and defence policies. I am not an Indian but I think these four countries should act as if they are one country.

    I listed my condo for sale 2 years ago December. January I informed the Hoa and mangmt co that there was a leak from the roof as the water was coming through the condo. It took them form January till August to fix the problem in which time the value of homes started dropping. When All was supposedly fixed, I had an offer that was almost 50k less than original price, however as we were going through the inspection the ceiling in condo buckles. It took them months to fix, I lost the offer as new owner didn;t want to purchase dmgd home. By the time the ceiling was fixed, the market had dropped again & I had to sell home at 60k less than originally listed. In the meantime my reverse exchange expired & I had to purchase 2 properties instead of 1. I had to pay for repairs over & over, paid my realtor to manage work, loss of rent for 2 years, had to take loan because of 1031 exchange, constant hassles from hoa & mngmt...Per accountant I should ask for a lot, no lawyer, I am broke HELP

    Oil tanks are full throughout Europe and most of the world. There are no natural disasters threatening supplies. There are no wars threatening a reduction in supplies. Oil Tankers are moving the stuff freely and the pipelines are in full flow. Demand from China and India is up but the USA is using less oil so worldwide demand isn't really increasing. So why on earth has the price doubled in 12 months? The answer is that there are people manipulating the prices in the markets and making a shed full of money at our expense. The question is, why are international governments not working together to stop this practice? Big business could well be having more control of the economy than governments which is why Gas and Electricity prices have risen so much. If this is true and there is no other reason, what can we do about it? Tommy, Ever looked to see how many top CEO's are also on other Boards? We have a saying in the UK about people pissing in the same bucket. It could be quite scary and like some of the futuristic films where everything is run by a big Corporation. Thanks LBJ. There is already an undercurrent of unrest in the UK and the Crewe by-election that crushed the Labour party yesterday showed that people are waking up. I'm not saying that its the fault of Brown or Darling but people now want something to kick and I think its the same in the USA.
