  1. Resolved Question: Who is GOD and how do you REALLY know you're right???
  2. 16 Feb 2008 at 2:14am
PLEASE READ THIS FIRST: a lot of people have different theories about who God is...but no one really has proof of who God is... for people who believe in the Bible i would like to ask you: How do you know that God is the one from the Bible? what makes you SO sure? (oh and don't say faith cuz anyone can convince themselves to feel like they're right) I've always wanted to know who God is because i don't want to live the wrong life... but how can you make a decision when there is always that possibility that you might be wrong?

  3. Resolved Question: What doesn't God give us scientific evidence he exists? (a...
  4. 16 Feb 2008 at 2:13am
I know for a fact that God exists because he has touched my life and I have faith in the Bible, but why doesn't God give us evidence that is undeniable? What I mean is, why doesn't God appear in the sky and let everyone know he exists? I have my own theories for this, but I want to hear yours. I know God wants us to believe through faith and faith helps us grow. Please note I am NOT doubting God. I believe in the Bible. I have felt a feeling in my heart that is undeniable. So, what do you think? Why doesn't he do something that would let everyone know through seeing him firsthand? Why does he choose not to do that? By the way, I asked atheists not to comment because I ALREADY know what they are going to say, so it wouldn't be necessary for them to answer. I didn't want to hear anything from them because it hurts me when they say something bad about God.

  9. Resolved Question: Click here if you don't believe evolution is true..........?
  10. 16 Feb 2008 at 12:50am
Why don't you believe in it? Here are my reasons for not believing in it: 1) It goes against the Bible 2) It's just a theory that's never been proven 3) There are tons of missing links 4) Fossils of bugs and fish that are millions of years old look the same What are your reasons?

  11. Resolved Question: any fun teasing/sexy game to play with ur girlfriend????
  12. 16 Feb 2008 at 12:29am
i love to flirt with my girlfirend.. i like to keep my relationship fun, preventing from turning it to a routine. i heard this guy telling me about "the cat and string theory" (or somthing like that) he said "u know when u have a cat and u fling a string around it? the cats immediate reaction is to try to get it b/c he's really curious about it... but when u let the it get the string he just gets bored and leaves it there.. so same thing with humans, we want something we find really interesting in her/him but once we have it we get bored. point is to keep wiggling the string around if u want to keep things roling" so im looking for a fun game i can play with her. something where we can play alone, or around friends/family (without letting friends/fam. know were even playing, it'l make things exciting) *rules are if you crack you loose!! :) ex: if the point is to try not to kiss, but do, u loose. or if u try not to have sex, but do, u loose sooo any ideas? thanks!

  13. Resolved Question: Should I take an exam?
  14. 16 Feb 2008 at 12:24am
I am in Intermediate Foundation on the RAD syllabus. I want to take the August exam and I'm not on pointe yet, just ankle strengthening exercises. Lessons just started, because I'm in the Southern Hemisphere. I'm quite good (I think I've been going for 7 or 8 years) and I'm 12. I do two a week, but if I do an exam it'll be three, because that's what they offer, but I think there might be more if there are enough exam students. The other option is May 2009. I'm also going away for three weeks in the start of July overseas, but two weeks of that will be holidays, so I don't know if there'll be lessons anyway. I'm also sitting a piano Grade 6 Trinity exam and violin Grade 5 Trinity exam, and Mom wants me to sit a theory exam before I'm in high school, but I don't really want to, I suck at theory. Oh, sorry I'm a girl btw. Don't know how that name got there.

  16. 16 Feb 2008 at 12:03am

  20. 15 Feb 2008 at 11:44pm
Change is not a theory underlying a group pf policies. Change is word used as a propaganda tool. Hope too. The underlying theory is in my opinion, ladies and gentlemen, communism. Hillary is even worse, she doesn´t have one so she can´t battle against it. What do you think is the political theory behind Obama?

  23. Voting Question: Do you think Sirhan Sirhan was a "Manchurian" candidate?
  24. 15 Feb 2008 at 11:32pm
Do you think the man who was convicted of the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy in 1968 was a programmed assassin? Do you think he was a "diversion"" while Thane Eugene Cesar actually fired the fatal bullets? (Cesar was the security guard positioned directly behind and beside Kennedy , who was in the correct location considering the trajectory the autopsy confirmed ). If you've come this far, and don't believe the official version, who do you think was ultimately responsible for the assassination of RFK? I have my own theories, which I would be happy to share with you, but first I would appreciate hearing your opinion, if you have one. Thank you.

  25. Resolved Question: how to cycle a tank?
  26. 15 Feb 2008 at 11:16pm
ive got an established tank and a breeding-new tank. how about this theory to cycle it. correct me if i make mistakes or suggest other things to do. i put the establidshed tank's filter in my new tank for 1 week i put the sponge filter from the unestablished tank in the established tank for 1 week. i switch the two i put 1 cup of established gravel on the floor of the unestablished tank for 2 weeks i put 25% of established tank water into unestablished tank. after a week i put 1/2 guppys into the unestablished tank. then perform 1/2 weekly water changes for 3 or so weeks. (btw. i dont have nitrite/nitrate testers and dont want to get any). o by the way i have left the unestablished tank running with a sponge filter, no fish for a week so far. is there any chance the sponge filter of the unestablished tank would give ammonia/nitrate/nitrite in the established tank, when i change them?

  27. Resolved Question: Bruce Lee Question?
  28. 15 Feb 2008 at 11:13pm
Are more things pointing to bruce lee dying of some conspiracy theory, or more of is it really somethign that happened naturally. Does anyone have insight into this (perhaps you studied it specifically for many years and have a deeper insight than most). There are a basic story setup of how he died, but never really indepth as to whether or not it might have possibly been foul play (seeing that his son died not too long after that, and it was a mysterious happening as well.

  34. 15 Feb 2008 at 10:18pm
why do evangelics dont accept the theory of the evolution? since the church has accepted the theory. but I have two friends.. who really believe that theory is a lie.. as a catholic.. I am more open minded.. I live in mexico.. and I have seen the catholics are more open minded.. and protestants are not open minded.. they only have the bible but they dont accept this theory..well they are divided in many sects so I can't believe a common evangelic doesnt accept this theory, even most of evangelics that I have met always attact the catholic church, they are very intolerant why is that? where is the Bible say we should be intolerant? why do many people dont believe in this theory? I am very curious.. because there are evidences about that

  37. Resolved Question: Is climate change an undeniable fact as the media claim it...
  38. 15 Feb 2008 at 9:51pm
I just saw a documentary about the greatest threats facing our planet and one of the interviewees said that climate change caused by humans is an undeniable fact and the people who disagree with that are just the same as Holocaust deniers and should be discounted out of hand since there is no debate as there is complete scientific consensus on the subject. Is this true or are there any valid arguments against the climate change theory which is promoted in the media? And do you view climate change denial as a crime in the same manner as Holocaust denial as several media pundits stated?

  39. Voting Question: Did I give him bad advice?
  40. 15 Feb 2008 at 9:28pm
My friend is having problems with his stepdad[his stepdad is verbally abusive]. I suggested that my friend finds some extracurricular activities so he's not always holed up in the house with his stepdad and there are arguements just waiting to happen. I suggested that he gets a job so that he's away from his dad, and he gets a little money to save for college and he can finally pay for joining this dance team he wanted to get into, but didn't have the money for. It seemed like a good idea in theory, but now I'm having second thoughts. Like, what if he falls behind in school? or it was bad advice? What would YOU have told my friend? I'm sorry, I forgot to mention that he's been trying to get into sports for almost a year now. He either can't afford them or wasn't accepted on the team.

  41. Resolved Question: Can I get into Columbia University?
  42. 15 Feb 2008 at 9:22pm
I am an asian junior and want to know which schools I can apply for. (i.e. Columbia) I recently received my SAT scores: 790-math, 700-reading, and 790-writing (2280). I am treasurer of Math club, treasurer of Spanish Club, a researcher for Fed Challenge, a member of Model UN and Interact. I am also in the Biology II Science League Team. I have a weighted GPA of 4.31, and am in all honors/AP classes. I also take art courses and have built a portfolio (8 pieces). I have finished up to Level 7 for piano in the Associated Board of the Royal Schools, Level 5 for Music Theory, and have several other honors. I plan on taking the SAT IIs (Math/Hist/Bio) I volunteered in a Chinese orphanage, a school for disabled children, a genetics lab, the local library, and at the local hospital.(200+ hrs) I am in the top 1-2%. However, because of an autoimmune disease (lupus), I cannot participate in certain activities (sports) . I am afraid because of my low SAT reading. Suggestions?

  45. Resolved Question: How do you explain the "weirdness" of Déjà vu?
  46. 15 Feb 2008 at 8:41pm
In finding familiarity in the unfamiliar, we experience unease or ?strangeness?. Sometimes, it is so profound that it is remembered for years afterwards... What is your déjà vu theory? * Recall of forgotten memories (You haven?t been to the place, but someone told you about it) * Malfunctioning memory circuits (The mind coding the future as the past) * Reincarnation * spiritual time travel * a space-time anomaly * clairvoyance * A glitch in the Matrix * Something else And how does your theory explain the mental disquiet? cadydid523- Your grandfather?s a smart man. That?s the accepted theory (except by people who enjoy weird ideas), but I don?t think it quite explains the disturbance that we feel. philogos82- Yes, but that is really my question. If there is a process of ?constant conjunction?, or, in psychology, the formation of schemata, why should we feel strong discomfort in connecting two similar events? Em W.- Thanks for sharing! :-) Déjà vecu, to me, often feels like living something that I have dreamed. The sadistic devil- Really fascinating answer?Déjà vu as our sense of destiny. That?s worth a little pondering! Zingis- I bob in and out of skepticism myself, but yes, I agree; we have nothing close to full understanding of how our minds work. Also, props for working in a little Shakespeare. :-) Sakura_Blossom- That?s a really interesting connection you?ve drawn. Sleepwalking is also believed to be a ?glitch? of the mind, and like Déjà is more common in younger people. I don?t know what it means, but it?s interesting. Toyla-That is the most reasonable explanation, but memory is constantly falsified, with no awareness on our part. Gene- Lol! The Matrix explains all. I was watching to see if the Wachowski brothers would be quietly eliminated for revealing the Truth, and after seeing ?V for Vendetta? I?m convinced that they?ve been replaced. But I know what you mean. It?s kind of like being able to guess who?s on the phone before answering it (Although now that?s just called ?Caller ID?.). I always just feel puzzled, same feeling as when I can?t remember where I?ve read something. workn2hard116- Great answer! Parallel Universes are my favorite mind boggle, too! Param- LOL! Then that is what you can teach me: to accept the marvels. :-) James J- A unique answer, thanks for the theory! I also like your description, ?baffled and amazed?. - Yes, I believe the Truth is always ?far more extraordinary?, even when it?s hidden in the fine print. How DID they fold space, anyway? Or does it just happen naturally, if I buy a good enough entertainment system? JustLanded- That?s interesting to me, because I think we feel the same disconcertion whenever our mental time-construct is interrupted. For example, we sometimes don?t have a sense of time having passed overnight. We feel like we went to sleep and immediately woke up again. Hours are lost. Wonderful answer.

  47. Resolved Question: VLJ program, is it going to work? Will there be a market f...
  48. 15 Feb 2008 at 8:24pm
I see several companies have entered the market in these small light jets. the theory is that only one pilot needed, cost under a million dollars (although I have not seen any price quotes lower than 2 milion), able to fly into smaller fields, but still have the range and speed of larger Biz jets. Is this possible, the cost of owning a jet is still quite high, and do we want single pilot jets being flown by (I would think in many cases) King Air or Saratoga pilots with little or no jet time, but plenty of cash. Comments.. opinons? This is NOT a slam against King Air or Saratoga pilots, more in the vein of PRICE than aircraft type, I can afford a king air/saratoga, with 250 hrs in log book, but wow, I can buy a small jet! As in "Ready, Fire, Aim"

  51. Resolved Question: Debt of a country....what if people paid it??
  52. 15 Feb 2008 at 8:13pm
Assuming your country owed $10M, it's population is 1M. Let us say also that your loan is 40% from international sources and 60% from domestic sources. Now, by dividing the loan amongst its inhabitant everybody would have owed $10. People then decided to pay off the loan by shelling out ten bucks each to pay off the loan. What do you think would be it's effect on the economy of that country? If you can back up your answers with studies or theories so much the better. this is not a homework. i just want to know .

  53. Resolved Question: What Books (Guitar) Have All The Scales Immaginable In It?
  54. 15 Feb 2008 at 7:49pm
Not all this "learn about theory" garbage. I just want a book that has like every scale known to man to this date. I want to advance my playing and learn more scales. Thanks! (Oh and do you have a Possible Price???)

  55. Resolved Question: Can someone provide a decent definition or link to explain...
  56. 15 Feb 2008 at 7:45pm
I think far too many people here are missing the point. Such as "The theory of evolution is just a theory. It hasn't been proven." I know there is something about a theory can't be proved, only disproved, but I don't know how to explain it.

  59. Resolved Question: What's your view on this existence theory?
  60. 15 Feb 2008 at 7:32pm

  63. Resolved Question: Do you believe in evolution?
  64. 15 Feb 2008 at 6:29pm
I do. But I think the Big Bang Theory is just a bunch of crap. Ever heard of the law of matter? Well yeah. I dont believe that humans came from monkeys. But look at animals, the dog clearly came from the wolf. The lion, cat, and tiger are all related.

  65. Resolved Question: Does the Big Bang Theory go against the Law of Matter?
  66. 15 Feb 2008 at 6:23pm
I heard it does. How? well. Before there was nothing, and then BANG! theres matter.

  68. 15 Feb 2008 at 5:58pm
It's based on game theory and is mathmatically provable. It involves trading stocks in the dow and the S and P 500. Only stocks that have the lowest chance of going bankrupt in the next 10 years would be traded.

  69. Resolved Question: Isn't so-called "Intelligent Design" self-cancelling?
  70. 15 Feb 2008 at 5:48pm
The core argument that so-called Intelligent Design makes is "irreducible complexity", i.e., that structures such as the eye are too complex to have evolved without a magical "designer" (god). Ignore for the moment that many transitional forms of eyes exist in nature (e.g., no lens, no pupil, etc.), thus this theory falls flat. But, what about *unnecessary* complexity? Example, ID proponents say "blood clotting is too complex, so nature couldn't have done this on its own". But couldn't you also argue "it's overly complex; no designer would have designed this." Likewise with DNA. "Too complex for nature to do this." Well, what kind of infinite "designer" would have made it so horribly complex, and why is about 95% of it considered "junk DNA" that doesn't code anything? Sloppy design. Likewise the endocrine system. I would have designed a thyroid regulator like a thermostat, not a Rube Goldberg contraption needing so many organs and hormones to work. Is ID its own demise? I realize that "junk DNA" has a function; I'm just saying an intelligent designer wouldn't be so sloppy or wasteful.

  72. 15 Feb 2008 at 5:31pm
I know many of you say there are many conspiracy theories flying around and I agree, for one people that think we blew up the buildings on 9/11... anyways that being said, what makes you think the Government would tell the world that they have proof of UFO's or that they have underground bunkers in case of nuclear attack? they finally just told us the Space Bus that they are going to blow up with a missle has frozen toxic fuel and if it hits earth it could cause a Toxic Cloud, AND once they blow this thing up what about a plane flying nearby? ducking out of the way of Space Shrapnel? I mean if you trust the government to look out for your welfare you might be like those poor folks that are living in Fema trailers breathing Embalming Fluid... trust yourself, and GOD don't ya think?

  75. Resolved Question: Why is it that as the primaries go on, I am more and more ...
  76. 15 Feb 2008 at 5:16pm
Obama: just came out of nowhere and is beating a political heavyweight with the media's backing. Someone or something's gotta be pushing him. Otherwise, I don't see how a "junior" can just come into the picture and conquer. This isn't usually how the world works. McCain: all of a sudden, is actually winning! Wow! Something is up. Perhaps the New World Order was totally against him for the past couple of years but now thinks that it's his time to rise. Strange how all of a sudden, he is winning. Now, he's being backed by some of the biggest Republicans on the face of the planet. If you know anything about the New World Order conspiracy theory, then please tell me if you see something different here. I'm becoming more and more convinced that The Elite is trying to control us and, in turn, take control of the world.

  77. Resolved Question: How can a clock be "the most accurate"?
  78. 15 Feb 2008 at 5:04pm
I just read about a clock that is being developed to be the most accurate - less than 1 seconds lost per 200 million years - but according to the theory of Time Dilation clocks will operate at different "speeds" based on the gravity potential of their location. How do you know you haven't lost or gained time in relation to other clocks that are geographically separated and does it matter? (non-physicist asking so be kind)

  79. Resolved Question: Big bang..and atheists.?
  80. 15 Feb 2008 at 5:01pm
I know better than to put religion into science, but what about the big bang theory. 13.7 billion years ago, one point started expanding. less than 500 years ago, we all thought everything revolved around us. What is next and do atheists ever say..hmm. I guess the religious nuts get a point for this one. hello? satillite images of radiation are proof of the age of our universe. We got these images in 2002. I have people talking about blood letting and stuff. can anyone just slow down and read the question? newsflash, big bang is not a theory. there is no evidence that God wished the big bang. Big bang theory is based on motion, but big bang fact is based on images of radiation. It is no longer a theory.

  83. Resolved Question: John Locke?
  84. 15 Feb 2008 at 4:57pm
Does anyone have an essay about his how his political constructs theories were influential in the writing of the Constitution? I just want to make sure I didnt leave anything out of my paper. Thanks I not taking your work. I have this thing called ethics and I am attending law school in the fall. If you get caught for academic fraud or cheating you arent allowed to attend law school because there are criteria concerning academic integrity, honesty, academic growth. The paper is done I was just trying to evaluate it through comparison to see if I omitted any obscure facts that could improve upon my work. thanks for the input but please do not assume I am cheating. Ignorant comments are a result of a lack of intellect and logic. In college, which after you get your GED they might let you into, they have this system in place called the paper bank and in all major universities professors deposit them in the bank and run them against a million other submitted papers and it detects plagarism. Junior college students need not respond to this

I'm doing a research paper on the motorsports Industry and need the numbers for a budgeting scenario; hence, I need to know how much they spend on technology and/or development costs. I'm looking for the most accurrate legitimate numbers; a few similar theories could work if no one can find anything legit.

  100. 15 Feb 2008 at 4:13pm
Does anyone know why there are so many people acting weird and depressed? I'm serious. It seems like everyone that I come into contact with is depressed or stressed out about something. Is there some weird astrological alignment or tides (I'll listen to anyone's theory at this point)? Have you experienced the same thing lately?< >
