LG Electronics, the manufacturer of many a popular mobile handsets last week(07th Feb, 2007) announced the launch of LG KE970 Shine in the United Kingdom. The mobile phone is its latest addition to its premium Black Label series. The mobile phone is high on design and promises to offer high-class imaging, music and connectivity to a mobile user.



The handset which is already available in Korea has sold more than 180,000 units in its first quarter of launch. The mobile phone is still selling like hot cakes with 3,500 units being moved daily across the counters. The manufacturer expects similar kind of response from the UK market and is keeping no stone unturned with the ad campaign being led by by world famous illusionist David Blaine. Garbed in brushed, the handset looks great from outside with a reflective 2.2 inch screen. The glossy exteriors hides beneath a ‘magic mirror’ full colour screen with the keypad being illuminated with blue light. A scroll key gives easy access to the menu.



The LG KE970 Shine features a 2-megapixel AF Camera certified by Schneider-Kreuznach to help you click images and videos with greater clarity and detail. An integrated media player with multi-codec support for MP3, ACC++ and WAV files, 10 equalizer effects and real spectrum makes your favourite tracks much more pulsating.



Versatile connectivity options with office utility applications is another tempting feature of LG Shine. The handset offers Internet on your mobile with WAP 2.0 browser, Document Viewer which supports PDF, DOC, XLS, PPT, TXT to help you see attached documents in your e-mail. There is GPRS, EDGE(Class) 10 for fast data transfer and USB Port and Bluetooth for transferring of files from your device to another.



Whether, LG Shine will really shine in UK, only time can answer. But looking at the description and the ad-campaign, its certain to generate loads of excitement in masses.
